John Grisham has been selling out on the shelves, but now he’s selling out in the rush to digital. Twenty-two of his thrillers will be published by Random House in e-book form and available soon on portable devices. Grisham felt that now, with the second coming of the Kindle, he is finally ready to modernize. “There was a period when John and I felt it was a good idea to watch the world of e-books evolve before diving in,” David Gernert, Grisham’s literary agent, told the Wall Street Journal. “Now that it’s a more mature marketplace, he will be available very soon in all digital formats.” Almost all of his titles—his bestselling new release, The Associate is staying exclusively in print.
