A mother grizzly bear fatally mauled a man hiking in Yellowstone National Park on Wednesday morning, according to a park spokesman. The man, whose name has not been released, was hiking with his wife when they came upon a mother bear with her cubs. Nearby hikers heard his wife call for help and dialed 911. Park officials say they’re investigating the attack but haven’t taken any actions against the bear yet. It’s the first fatal mauling at Yellowstone since 1986.
