Gulliver's Gate: Miniaturists Lavish Big Love on Their Small World Recreations of Global Landmarks

Hundreds or artists have gathered around the world to create the new architectural experience known as Gulliver's Gate.

Welcome to Gulliver's Gate, a global project involving hundreds of artist who have created unique miniature replicas of the world’s most famous landmarks. The exhibition opens today in New York City's Times Square. Aside from landmarks, be prepared to be mesmerized by the moving trains, planes, and crucial detail of the everyday civilians in each location. The exhibition includes scenes from New York City, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe, Russia, and Asia. Landmarks displayed include the Hoover Dam, the Parthenon, the Colosseum, the Pyramids, the Panama Canal, the Great Wall of China, and many more.


Visitors also will have the opportunity to participate in a full-body scanner and create miniature versions of themselves. Gulliver’s Gate is a $40-million-dollar project expected to draw well over one million annual visitors and will feature more than 300 built-to-scale models of scenes from around the universe, with hundreds of moving model trains and vehicles, ships that sail, and planes that take off and land.


Gulliver’s Gate is located at 216 West 44th Street, New York, NY 10036. Opening hours will be from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, with last entry at 8:30 p.m.
