One man was killed and two women were wounded in a shooting at the Fort Bliss military base in El Paso, Texas, Monday evening. According to reports, law-enforcement officials shot the man after he shot the two women. It was unclear a few hours after the shooting how the victims or gunman were connected to the military. Fort Bliss is home to the First Armored Division, and President Barack Obama spoke there August 31 to mark the official end to the Iraq War.
