At Least Three Shot After Gunman Opens Fire at Tennessee Smile Direct Club
Police said the gunman has been shot and killed.

A gunman opened fire at the Smile Direct Club in Antioch, Tennessee, where he worked just before 6 a.m. Tuesday, shooting at least three employees. The 22-year-old shooter left the building after attacking workers with a Glock semiautomatic pistol with an extended magazine, and was ultimately shot and killed by Metro Nashville Police on a street outside, authorities said. At least one of the injured employees is in critical condition. The gunman was a day-shift employee at the Smile Direct Club, and had started working there in June, police said. He’d previously worked at the business from late 2019 to early 2020. His motive has yet to be determined.
