Nigerian gunmen viciously attacked a boarding school around 3 a.m. Saturday morning, leaving at least 29 students and one teacher dead from gunshot wounds and being burned alive. According to survivors at the hospital, dozens more escaped and have yet to be found. The gunmen are believed to belong to the radical jihadist sect Boko Haram, whose name translates to "Western education is sacrilege." Militants from Boko Haram and breakaway groups have killed more than 1,600 civilians since 2010.
