Even more details are surfacing in the latest corporate scandal. Jodie Fisher, the 50-year-old woman who was at the center of the sexual-harassment suit against former H-P CEO Mark Hurd that forced him to resign, was previously an actress in softcore films. You can watch the trailer for Body of Influence 2 on Gawker; other films on her resume include Sheer Passion and Silk Stockings. She also appeared in the 2007 NBC reality-TV show Age of Love. As far as the suit that brought down the CEO, Fisher says, "I have resolved my claim with Mark privately, without litigation, and I do not intend to comment on it further," adding, “I was surprised and saddened that Mark Hurd lost his job over this. That was never my intention.” Sources close to the case say that no money was paid to Fischer as part of the settlement. In a memo to employees, interim CEO Cathie Lesjak explained that Hurd’s relationship with Fischer, who worked for the company between 2007 and 2009, “instituted a conflict of interest,” and that he “failed to maintain accurate response reports, and misused company assets.” Hurd is said to be receiving a $28 million severance package.
