Kidnapping victim Hannah Anderson spoke to the Today show on Thursday, in her first interview since her rescue. "In the beginning, I was a victim," the 16-year-old who was abducted by a family friend near San Diego earlier this month and discovered in Idaho a week later. "But now knowing everyone out there's helping me, I consider myself a survivor instead." Anderson talked about her relationship with James Lee DiMaggio--a family friend who became her captor--explaining that the two exchanged letters while she was fighting with her mother a year ago and that they'd exchanged text messages about where DiMaggio should pick her up from cheerleading camp. That was right before he kidnapped her, setting his house on fire and killing Anderson's mother and younger brother.
