Harry Potter Theme Park Opens

Daniel Radcliffe joined many of his Harry Potter co-stars at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida on Friday to celebrate the opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, along with thousands of others who waited hours in line to get into the 20-acre theme park. "What Universal Orlando has done with Harry Potter is really, really fantastic," Radcliffe said. Those visitors lucky enough to get in experienced special effects-filled rides, such as Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, which features projections of the story’s characters, and plenty of shopping opportunities. Still, apparently not everyone was a fan—the park received a vague bomb threat on Thursday, but Universal assured that “appropriate precautions” were being taken.
