The New York Daily News reports that a close associate of the pair said that the rumored split is "not true," while The Sun of London reported that Pitt's brother Doug advised Pitt to end the relationship because the time he spends with Angelina is "fraught" and "they want different things from life." Although the tabloids have been trumpeting the breakup for some time, speculation has run wild since London's News of the World reported that the unmarried pair had met with California divorce lawyers to amicably divide their vast fortune and custody of their six kids.
