Utah Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch will be fighting for the seat he has held for 36 years in a June primary after falling short by 50 votes at the GOP convention. Hatch is seen as a mainstream elder in the state, but despite his tenure is facing one of his toughest elections yet. Hatch is being challenged by a Tea Party devotee, 37-year-old former state Sen. Dan Liljenquist. The winner of that contest is heavily favored to win against Democrats in November.
