After initially greenlighting a Season Two of 1970s rock ’n’ roll drama series Vinyl, HBO has decided to cancel the program altogether. The show, executive-produced by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger, debuted in 2015 and garnered disappointing ratings and reviews. “Obviously, this was not an easy decision. We have enormous respect for the creative team and cast for their hard work and passion on this project,” the network said in a statement.
