Next time you complain about not having enough legroom on a flight, just be thankful you didn’t get whiplash from turbulence. Twelve people sustained minor injuries on a United Airlines flight from Tampa to Houston on Wednesday when the plane hit heavy turbulence over Louisiana. A Houston Fire Dept. spokesman said all injured people were taken to a hospital after the flight touched down, but that no serious injuries were reported so far. It wasn’t clear whether the turbulence was connected to the storms that blew through the region Tuesday.
