Heavyweight Champ Tyson Fury Tested Positive for Cocaine

Heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury reportedly failed a random urine test last week, according to ESPN, and now his titles could be in jeopardy. Multiple sources with knowledge of the Sept. 22 test told ESPN on Friday that Fury—who recently pulled out of an Oct. 29 rematch against Wladimir Klitschko for being “medically unfit”—tested positive for cocaine. According to the sports news outlet, while the test for performance-enhancing drugs is not yet complete, the positive cocaine hit would likely result in Fury losing his world-title belts.
