Heidi Montag’s 2010 single “Superficial” has soared to the top of the iTunes charts after a plea from her husband. The Hills alumni Spencer Pratt had asked his TikTok followers to stream the tune after the pair’s California home succumbed to the Palisades fire. “Please stream any of [Heidi Montag’s] music on any platforms it will make a huge difference,” he said on the video-sharing app Friday. By Saturday, the song had leapfrogged Bad Bunny’s “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” and Pratt once again took to social media, this time to thank fans. “Popstar Heidi Montag No. 1 on iTunes America,” Pratt said. “Thank you everyone! Who needs a house, who needs clothes, who needs anything but this level of clout, pop, superstardom? Our sons are gonna be like, ‘My mom was No. 1 on iTunes America.’ Thank you to everyone who made this happen.” The scheme was buoyed by support from fellow celebrities like Flava Flav and Emily Ratajkowski. The pair, who met while filming The Hills, are now targeting the Billboard charts, Pratt added.
