Helen Mirren turns 65 next month—but that hasn’t stopped her from posing nude. In this week’s New York magazine, Juergen Teller shoots Mirren soaking topless in the bathtub. And Mirren-as-sex-symbol doesn’t end there: The actress will portray a madam at a whorehouse in Love Ranch, a film directed by her husband, Taylor Hackford, which opens June 30. To research the part, Hackford encouraged his wife to spend a night at the notorious Mustang Ranch whorehouse. Mirren tells the magazine: “I said, ‘Read my lips: I’m not going to spend a night in a brothel.’” ... But, as she explains, she took direction from her husband instead: “It’s amazing how quickly you get into dildos everywhere and pink-feather handcuffs. Within an hour you’re completely used to it.”
