Helen Mirren: L’Oreal Moisturizer ‘Probably Does F--- All’

Dame Helen Mirren, a L’Oreal brand ambassador, has come under scrutiny after admitting that the skin-care line’s moisturizer “probably does fuck all.” Mirren was speaking during a press panel for the company in France. “I’m not setting standards for others. All I can do is be who I am. I’ve always loved makeup,” the 72-year-old Oscar winner said. “I’m an eternal optimist—I know that when I put my moisturizer on it probably does fuck all, but it just makes me feel better. I’ve always said to L’Oreal as well that I will only do what makes me feel better.” It wasn’t yet clear how L’Oreal executives reacted to the remark.
