After years of speculation, Warner Bros. finally has its newest superhero. Henry Cavill, a relatively unknown actor who just finished production on The Cold Light of Day and is a regular on the TV show The Tudors, will play Clark Kent and his high-flying alter-ego in Zack Snyder’s upcoming film. Snyder said 27-year-old Cavill is the “perfect choice to don the cape and S shield.” Expect him to fly into theaters in December 2012.
