Here Are the 2016 Oscar Nominations: Leonardo DiCaprio, ‘Straight Outta Compton,’ and More

The 88th Academy Award will be hosted by Chris Rock, and broadcast live on the evening of Feb. 28 in Los Angeles. But sadly, Rock will be one of the only black people there, since this year marked the second straight year of no black acting or directing nominees. There were other surprises during this morning’s Oscar nominations announcement, including Carol being snubbed for Best Picture and a Best Original Screenplay nod for Straight Outta Compton. The survival epic The Revenant led the way with a total of 12 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor. Anyway, without further ado, here are this year’s nominees...
