The 71-year-old Chicagoan was a mainstay of the Obama campaign, caring for Sasha and Malia while their parents were on the trail, and is expected to perform a similar role in the White House. The person happiest about the announcement? Joe Biden, who had previously been designated for the post of babysitter-in-chief.
