Hillary Clinton Endorses Terry McAuliffe

back in the fray

For Virginia governor.

She's back! Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton re-entered the political fray when she formally endorsed Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe—a former Democratic National Committe Chairman, a strong fundraiser for President Bill Clinton in the 1990s, and the manager of Hillary's 2008 presidential bid—at an event on Saturday. “He will work around-the-clock—you will never find a more energetic chief executive,” she said of McAuliffe. “He will be a 24/7 governor for Virginia.” McAuliffe currently leads over Republican Attorney General Kenneth T. Cuccinelli II in the race for governor.
