Hillary Clinton Isn’t Running For President: John Podesta
SHE'S NOT RUNNING
Hillary Clinton's former campaign manager, John Podesta, has denied recent reports that she's mulling over yet another presidential run in 2020. CNN's Jeff Zeleny reported Sunday that Clinton had told people “as recently as this week” that she isn't “closing the doors to the idea of running in 2020.” But that's just “media catnip,” according to Podesta, who said: “Look, first of all, I love her, I wish she was president, she got three million more votes than Donald Trump did, she would have been a great president. But she says she's not running for president. Podesta said that he “take[s] her at her word” that she's not going to run, and said that the Democrats already have “a lot of great candidates.” He went on: “I think she would have been a great president but that's in the past and she says she's not running.”
