America’s foremost Hillary Clinton conspiracy theorist and co-author of a book with former Trump aide Roger Stone was elected chairman of Texas’ Travis County GOP on Tuesday evening.
Robert Morrow’s unexpected victory has set the local Republican Party in revolt, as he is seen as an extremist activist who does not comport with the values of Travis County, which houses Texan capital city Austin and is home to prominent state officials, including Gov. Greg Abbott.
The county party’s vice chairman, Matt Mackowiak, expressed his disgust with Morrow's victory: “I’m treating this as a coup and as a hostile takeover.”
In response, Morrow fumed: “Tell them they can go fuck themselves.” He then took direct shots at his vice chairman: “I don’t even think Mackowiak is going to support the Republican nominee, who is probably going to be [Donald] Trump. What kind of traitor to the party is Matt Mackowiak? The incredible amount of damage someone like him does to the party—and he’s a douchebag.”
Morrow is known for his brutish rhetoric and penchant for outlandish theories about public officials with whom he disagrees. On Election Night alone, Morrow tweeted about Rick Perry’s sexual orientation, Bill Clinton’s penis, and called Hillary Clinton an “angry bull dyke.”
Some of Morrow’s classiest recent tweets include: “Would Hillary Clinton swallow all of your cum or would it be more of a Lorena Bobbitt situation?” and “Much of the Bush family should be in Jail. Rick Perry is (was) a rampaging bisexual adulterer.”
