After two decades in the national spotlight, Hillary Clinton's energy levels are beginning to dim. Asked if she’d serve as secretary of State through a second hypothetical term of the Obama administration, she replied: “No, I really can’t.” Clinton added that being the U.S.'s top diplomat is "a 24-7 job and I think at some point, I will be very happy to pass it on to someone else." Clinton said she wants to return to a "private life" in which she could spend time "reading and writing and maybe teaching." She'd also like to travel, she said, but "not the kind of travel where you bring a couple of hundred people with you." Secretaries of State have rarely lasted more than a single presidential term.
