Hillary Headed to Egypt, Tunisia

After taking a hands-off approach during popular revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia, America will send its top diplomat to Cairo and Tunis next week. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will meet with interim leaders in an attempt to help them and guarantee good U.S. relations. Clinton said she will “convey the strong support of the Obama administration and the American people that we wish to be a partner in the important work that lies ahead as they transition to a genuine democracy.” She also plans to meet with Libyan dissidents.
