Hillary Clinton still had not spoken publicly as of 8 a.m. Wednesday morning after a stunning loss to 45th President-elect Donald Trump. Clinton called Trump privately to concede, according to reports, but she did not take to the stage. Late into the night, campaign chairman John Podesta spoke briefly to her crowd below the decidedly unshattered glass ceiling at the Javits Center in New York City before sending them home. Clinton will address the nation at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, according to a statement. Meanwhile, at about 6:30 a.m., Trump tweeted: “Such a beautiful and important evening! The forgotten man and woman will never be forgotten again. We will all come together as never before.”
