Hillary Clinton on Tuesday is expected to unveil a proposal to curb the high costs of prescription drugs by allowing access to more generic and imported drugs as well as forcing pharmaceutical companies to invest their profits into research and development. Clinton's plan would also allow Medicare to negotiate lowering the cost of drugs and cap out-of-pocket expenses to a monthly limit of $250 for patients with chronic or serious health conditions.
