Politico reports that Hillary Clinton plans to address her exclusive use of private email as secretary of state this week, according to three Democrats close to her. It is likely to be a press conference in New York. The email controversy comes just a few weeks before Clinton is expected to announce her presidential candidacy. If she holds a press conference, it will be the first time since leaving the State Department that Clinton has interacted with reporters on such a large scale. So far the only statement Clinton has made regarding the email story that the New York Times broke two Sundays ago was: “I want the public to see my email. I asked State to release them. They said they will review them for release as soon as possible." The State Department is looking at 50,000 emails Clinton gave them but said it will take "several months" to complete reviewing them all.
