On Thursday, Joseph Kenneth Cornett was charged with the kidnapping and rape of two 15-year-old girls in Lancaster, California. He will face trial for as many as 18 felony counts and eight misdemeanors, including attempted unprotected sexual activity while being aware he was HIV-positive.
