Attorney General Eric Holder is taking a stand against Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, saying that his ideas about ending racial discrimination are wrong. Holder said in a commencement speech at Maryland’s Morgan State University on Saturday that Roberts believes giving less consideration to race will put America on the path to end discrimination. “But discrimination does not always come in the form of a hateful epithet or a Jim Crow-like statute,” Holder said. “And so we must continue to take account of racial inequality, especially in its less obvious forms, and actively discuss ways to combat it.”
