Attorney General Eric Holder has announced the U.S. government’s plan to launch an investigation into a possible leak of classified information. Holder assigned two attorneys to look into how secret material, like information on a secret drone program and the “kill list,” was released to the media. Critics have suggested the White House was involved in distributing the information, which Obama called “offensive” and “wrong.” Holder’s statement stressed that the leak “can compromise the security of this country and all Americans, and it will not be tolerated.”
