After Green Berets admit they knew it was a hospital.
The Green Berets who asked for the Kunduz hospital airstrike in early October were aware that it was an active Doctors Without Borders facility, but contended that it was under Taliban control, according to an AP report. Doctors Without Borders denies the allegation. According to people who have seen an internal Army report about the attack, a senior Green Beret officer discussed the situation at the Afghanistan facility with the medical aid charity’s country director on the day before the strike that left 30 people dead.
