The House of Representatives Ethics Committee announced Friday that it is investigating Rep. Michele Bachmann, adding one more investigation to numerous inquiries into possible mishandling of funds and other problems surrounding her 2012 presidential campaign. In March, The Daily Beast revealed that Bachmann was being investigated by the Office of Congressional Ethics, and the Iowa Senate asked the state’s Supreme Court to investigate her campaign’s possibly improper payment of a staffer. Bachmann has already announced she will not seek another term in the House.
