Maybe this is a little too real: Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Guidice—often seen on Bravo's hit show partaking in lavish spending sprees—filed for bankruptcy on Tuesday with her husband. The couple owes a whopping $11 million to creditors, according to court documents. Guidice and her husband claim they have monthly expenses totaling $16,582, while they bring in nearly the same amount per month from his job owning a stucco supply store, her paycheck from Bravo, and “monthly assistance from family members." According to court documents, the Guidices have $8.7 million in liabilities and are underwater on their three homes to the tune of $2.6 million. The family had to undergo credit counseling prior to filing for bankruptcy, and despite Guidice’s infamy for huge shopping sprees, she said she learned some important lessons. "When people fall, the way to success is to get up and learn from our mistakes," she told People magazine. "We are in that process."
