Everyone knows Anna Dello Russo owns a lot of clothes. She has a seemingly endless supply of Dolce & Gabbana, a penchant for younger labels like Mary Katrantzou, and has had a recent love affair with Hedi Slimane’s Saint Laurent. Photo shoots of her Milan apartments (one for living) and one temperature-controlled apartment for her extensive fashion archive eveal an intricate palace, with ornate furs and rugs perfectly placed. Her outfits at the shows, too, are unsurprisingly over the top: Dello Russo, who is the editor of Vogue Nippon, has fashioned herself into a street-style star over the last few years, swanning for the hoards of cameramen in the season’s most current (and creatively paired) designs. Dello Russo is presumably gifted her designer duds (or given favourable discounts) but everything comes at a price.
