The press is convinced Occupy Wall Street is on its last legs, but some big names are offering advice to keep it standing. In The Guardian, Naomi Wolf says the protesters should use their money for lawyers. “The corporatocracy is terrified that citizens will get their hands on the mechanism of the law.” It’s also a mistake, Wolf argues, that Occupy has been resistant to naming leaders. Slate’s Eliot Spitzer says the movement should mobilize more college students and march on state governors’ end-of-year speeches. Meanwhile, the editors of National Review cheer the supposed doom of the protests, and call for New York City to “raze” the tents at Zuccotti Park.
