Sports fans rejoice: the NBA is back for the 2016-17 season. Now along with NHL hockey and the upcoming World Series, you can fill your entire schedule (and DVR) with sports. But while baseball season is wrapping up, basketball season is just getting started.
The 2016-17 NBA Season begins Tuesday, October 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET when the New York Knicks take on the Cleveland Cavaliers (the 2015-16 NBA champions). Following this first evening matchup will be the Utah Jazz v. the Portland Trail Blazers at 10:00 p.m. ET and the San Antonio Spurs against the Golden State Warriors at 10:30 p.m. ET.
The action continues all week with dozens of games to watch from Wednesday to Sunday. Catch your favorite teams—and their rivals—in their opening games of the season.
