Two plastic bags full of human remains were found on the side of a Bronx street on Friday, sparking a police investigation. Authorities say a Parks Department employee made the grisly discovery outside Crotona Park. The employee and his boss initially thought the bags contained a dead dog, but when they spotted human hair inside, they contacted police. Police say they believe the remains belong to an adult woman but they have yet to identify the victim. The medical examiner is currently working to determine the cause of death while NYPD K9s have begun scouring the area for clues.
