Jon Huntsman took his campaign outside of New Hampshire for the first time since it started and was pleasantly surprised by the turnout he received. Although he did better than polls predicted in New Hampshire, after focusing his campaign solely on that state Huntsman only came in third in the primary there—lowering his expectations for the next primary election, in South Carolina. But while his South Carolina support is still in the single digits, the former Utah governor has been drawing hundreds to his campaign stops and eliciting applause and laughter from tightly packed audiences.
