The parents of an 11-year-old girl who was killed in Hurricane Michael have paid tribute to their “beautiful” daughter who “lit up everything.” Sarah Radney was inside her grandparents’ home in southwest Georgia when powerful winds lifted a carport high into the air and slammed it back down on top of the house. One of its legs plunged through the house’s roof and hit the girl in the head. Mom Amber Radney said one of her favorite memories is of making a video of Sarah dancing to Outkast’s “Hey Ya!” in a park. “She was so beautiful and she smiled so much that day,” Radney told the Associated Press. “She lit up everything.” Dad Roy Radney said: “She was 11 years old, but she liked to have fun like a 5-year-old.” At least two other people were killed by the hurricane.
