E’s reality-TV series that followed Caitlyn Jenner’s journey while she came out as a transgender woman, I Am Cait, has been canceled after two seasons. The show—which premiered in July 2015—struggled to attract ratings, a surprising disappointment, as every other TV event Jenner participated in, from her interview with Diane Sawyer to her appearance at the ESPY awards, did well. E’s head of programming, Jeff Olde, had said, “we always love ratings but we do the show for many reasons.” Still, both Jenner and the network have decided not to continue the series. A spokesperson said this week that Jenner “will always remain a part of the E! family, and we look forward to continue following her journey as she appears on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Jenner said Tuesday: “It’s time for the next adventure."
