I Do, Part Deux

While the world was panicking about swine flu last Saturday, Salma Hayek was marrying French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault (again) in one of the most glamorous weddings of the season. Walking down the aisle at the dramatic, all-gold Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Hayek stunned in a Balenciaga wedding dress, and later changed into a shorter, fuchsia frock for an evening performance. There must have been something about the theatre that made all the guests want jump up on stage: at one point, Penelope Cruz, Stella McCartney, Javier Bardem, Ed Norton, Woody Harrelson, and Ashley Judd performed an impromptu “Over the Rainbow” for the couple. Moved to participate, Hayek joined and friends Charlize Theron, Woody Harrelson, Bono and Damien Rice in a rendition of “Stand By Me.”
