‘I Don’t Forgive This Woman,’ Says Black Boy Falsely Accused of Groping White Woman in NYC Bodega

aNine-year-old Jeremiah Harvey, the black boy who was falsely accused of groping a white woman in a New York City bodega after he accidentally hit the woman’s backside with a bag last week, said he did not forgive his accuser after she apologized. “I don't forgive this woman, and she needs help,” Harvey told local news station WABC. Harvey broke down in tears after Teresa Klein claimed he groped her while she was standing at the register of Sahara Deli Market last week. Klein then started arguing with Harvey's mother, and was caught on video calling the police to the Flatbush bodega. Harvey was cleared of any wrongdoing after the store's surveillance footage showed a plastic bag he was holding had brushed Klein’s behind while he was leaving the store with his mother. Klein later apologized to the boy in a video. According to ABC News, Harvey said at a community meeting that “friendship is really the key.”
