A simian sartorialist with a taste for minimalist interior design has swept the Internet since photos of the curious branch swinger were snapped in the parking lot of a Canadian IKEA. The hipster rhesus macaque was wearing a tiny shearling coat when he escaped from a crate in his owner’s parked vehicle. The monkey—for whom door-buster deals are likely low-hanging fruit—had shoppers going ape as they quickly formed a crowd. And the monkey, which was reclaimed by its owner, is not all about clothes—“it’s a smart monkey,” one police spokesperson said.
