Immigration agents have arrested 130 illegal immigrants in northern Virginia as part of a three-day sting operation targeting fugitive aliens. The operation occurred from Sunday to Tuesday, and ICE and other law enforcement officials announced the arrests Wednesday morning in Manassas. Of the arrests, 85 were for felony crimes, including rape, assault, and child sex, and 11 of the 85 had been previously deported from the U.S. On Wednesday, ICE Director John Morton said, "The criminals we arrested over the past three days are not the kind of people we want in our community," adding, "If you're committing crimes and you're here unlawfully, it's time to go home."
