Doctors for Teddy Fortsmann, CEO of International Management Group, misdiagnosed his cancer for almost a year and have now determined that he is suffering from the same type of cancer as the late Massachusetts Senator Teddy Kennedy, according to a report from Fox Business. Fortsmann’s medical team blamed his poor health over the past year on a host of other ailments, including meningitis. He only recently learned that he had brain cancer when he went to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Kennedy died about a year after his diagnosis, but Fortsmann has been responding well to initial treatment, and the tumors that could not be removed have shrunk.
