The Indiana State Fair reopened on Monday after the stage collapse on Saturday that killed five people. But first there was a memorial service for the victims, which Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels attended. The tragedy took place when a 60- to 70-mph gust of wind blew metal scaffolding into the crowd; shortly beforehand, authorities had warned concertgoers to seek shelter. Forty people were injured in the accident, and nine remained in the hospital as of Sunday afternoon, including three children.
