Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels—a likely contender for the Republican presidential nomination—received 16 stitches to his forehead Friday after being hit in the head by an opening door at an Indianapolis gym. He was standing near a door after completing his workout, according to Daniels’ office, when the door swung open and hit him in the forehead. Indiana State Police took him to the hospital where the wound was stitched. He’s now recuperating at home. (Editor's note: An earlier headline mistakenly identified Daniels' home state.)
