The infamous house of Jackie Treehorn—the erratic porn producer in The Big Lebowski, played by Ben Gazzara—has been donated to an art museum.
One of late architect John Lautner’s greatest feats, the house on a hill above Los Angeles was handed over by Lakers superfan and fashion guru James Goldstein to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The gift, according to LACMA, includes a James Turrell Skyspace in its extensive landscaped tropical gardens, an infinity tennis court, and an entertainment complex.
