Six Iranian teenagers were released on bail Wednesday, three days after being arrested for creating their own video for Pharrell Williams’s hit “Happy.” Upon being released, the group were put on state television to serve as a warning to the country’s youth to pay attention to Islamic standards of modesty or risk punishment. The arrests came just one day after Iranian President Hassan Rouhani had made an appeal for the relaxation of Internet censorship. While under arrest, the six reportedly were subject to interrogation and harsh treatment.
